A\u00a0Coldplay<\/strong>\u00a0song\u00a0would not be the obvious tune to cover on a ‘guitar-driven’ rock record like\u00a0Ryan Roxie’s\u00a0Imagine Your Reality<\/strong>.\u00a0\u00a0Roxie<\/strong>\u00a0takes the\u00a0melancholy mood of the\u00a0Coldplay<\/strong>\u00a0song and injects a punkish energy to it with layer upon layer of raw guitar tracks while still staying true to the song’s dark timbre. Complimented by a new enigmatic video shot on location in\u00a0the Las Vegas Desert by Director\/Cinematographer\u00a0Denise Truscello\u00a0<\/strong>with graphic lyric overlay by\u00a0Gustav Kronfelt<\/strong>\u00a0and additional editing by Jonny Vegas,\u00a0God Put a Smile on Your Face will do to you just what the title suggests.<\/p>\n
