From crunching legendary chords on his beloved Gibson Guitar in the stadiums with\u00a0Guns N\u2019 Roses<\/strong>, to getting down into the\u00a0Snakepit\u00a0<\/strong>to with his GNR buddy\u00a0Slash<\/strong>, gracing our TV Screens on the widely watched rock reality show\u00a0Rockstar: Supernova\u00a0<\/em><\/strong>or creating pure, heartfelt rock music as a solo artist\u00a0GILBY CLARKE<\/strong>\u00a0has done it all.<\/p>\n

Gilby<\/strong>\u00a0recently released his latest single\u00a0\u2018Rock n\u2019 Roll Is Getting Louder\u2019<\/strong>\u00a0via Golden Robot Record and now Gilby has now released the video for\u00a0\u2018Rock n\u2019 Roll Is Getting Louder\u2019.\u00a0<\/strong>The video was shot in\u00a0<\/strong>Palmdale CA and Downtown Los Angeles and band performance footage in Hollywood club\u00a0Oh My Ribs!<\/strong>\u00a0It was directed by\u00a0Christopher C. Pearson.<\/strong>

\nGilby\u2019s\u00a0<\/strong>live band members\u00a0<\/strong>Bass Player,\u00a0EJ Curse<\/strong>\u00a0(Silent Rage, White Lion) and Drummer,\u00a0Jimmy D\u2019Anda<\/strong>\u00a0(Bullet Boys, George Lynch) both appear in the clip along with some great cameo\u2019s by\u00a0Slim Jim Phantom<\/strong>\u00a0(Stray Cats),\u00a0Taime Downe<\/strong>\u00a0 (Faster Pussycat),\u00a0Jimmy Herald<\/strong>\u00a0(Hillbilly Herald) and\u00a0Teddy ‘Zig Zag’ Andreadis<\/strong>\u00a0(formally of Guns N\u2019 Roses, Carole King, Chuck Berry, Bo Diddley, Alice Cooper)<\/p>\n

\u2018Rock n\u2019 Roll Is Getting Louder\u2019\u00a0<\/strong>is true stormer of a track in pure Gilby fashion. It is pure rock n\u2019 roll doused in the influences that run through Gilby\u2019s veins. It is a track that is set to become a true anthem and long-time fan favourite. Do we dare say it is an instant classic?<\/p>\n

GILBY CLARKE<\/strong>\u00a0has played in both\u00a0Guns N\u2019 Roses<\/strong>\u00a0and\u00a0The MC5.<\/strong>\u00a0Who else can claim membership in two of the most life-altering and influential rock \u2019n\u2019 roll outfits to ever exist on the planet?
\nBut none of that overshadows the fact this guitarist, singer and songwriter was a 17-year-old punk from Cleveland whose Hollywood dues were paid in full. Before joining the\u00a0Guns N\u2019 Roses<\/strong>\u00a0circus, Gilby was\u00a0Kim Fowley\u2019s<\/strong>\u00a0go-to session guitarist and ghost writer. After playing with Hollywood bands\u00a0Candy\u00a0<\/strong>and\u00a0Kill For Thrills<\/strong>\u00a0a late-night call from Slash changed everything. Gilby joined Guns in \u201991.
\nHe appeared on the band\u2019s\u00a0Spaghetti Incident, Live Era \u201988-\u201991<\/em><\/strong>and\u00a0The Greatest Hits<\/em><\/strong>albums. Gilby spent years on the\u00a0Use Your Illusion<\/strong>\u00a0tour in the 90s.
\nAfter Guns imploded, armed only with his Les Paul, Gilby went back and launched his solo career. Receiving critical winks for his albums\u00a0Pawnshop Guitars<\/em>,\u00a0The Hangover<\/em>,\u00a0Rubber<\/em>,\u00a099 Live<\/em><\/strong>and\u00a0Swag.<\/em><\/strong>Recording and\/or touring over the lean years with\u00a0Nancy Sinatra, Heart, The MC5<\/strong>\u00a0& his old bandmate\u00a0Slash\u2019s Snakepit,<\/strong>\u00a0Gilby even snuck in videos with\u00a0GNR<\/strong>,
\nMichael Jackson<\/strong>\u00a0and\u00a0Fall Out Boy<\/strong>\u00a0when MTV was de rigeur.
\nClarke currently splits his services with\u00a0Kings of Chaos<\/strong>\u00a0led by\u00a0Matt Sorum<\/strong>\u00a0and an all-star alumni that has featured\u00a0Steven Tyler, Joe Elliot<\/strong>\u00a0and\u00a0Gene Simmons<\/strong>\u00a0and his solo band.
\nClarke, who\u2019s an old school mash-up of\u00a0Keef, Johnny Thunders,<\/strong>\u00a0and\u00a0B.B. King<\/strong>, continues to write fist-jacking rock \u2019n\u2019 roll songs with fat choruses, and appear on stages around the globe. He produces worthy bands too. He\u2019s also one of the sweetest gents you\u2019ll ever meet. He\u2019s a guitar hero, certainly, but also a gentleman whose heart happens to rush at rock \u2019n\u2019 roll speed.<\/p>\n
