LOUISE DISTRAS ANNOUNCES HEADLINE UK TOUR

Louise Distras is pleased to announce she’s back on the road for a stretch of headline tour dates next January.<\/p>\n

Commenting on the news, Louise says\u00a0“It’s going to be just me, my guitar, and my songs. I can’t wait to hit the road and\u00a0finally share everything I’ve been working on over the past 12 months.”<\/em><\/p>\n

This year Distras announced she’s been recording her sophomore album in Oakland CA with producer Ross Petersen (Bruce Springsteen<\/strong>,\u00a0Goo Goo Dolls<\/strong>,\u00a0The Vamps<\/strong>) and Steve Whale of\u00a0The Business<\/strong>. Set for release in 2019, Louise says the new record will\u00a0\u201ctake the songs to a new level with harder hitting lyrics\u00a0and harder hitting concepts.\u201d<\/em><\/p>\n

Tipped as the voice of punk\u2018s next generation, praise has poured in from the likes of Kerrang! Magazine, The Guardian, Vive Le Rock, Louder Sounds,\u00a0BBC Radio 1, Radio X, and KROQ. She’s also appeared at Glastonbury, 2000 Trees, Godiva, Punk Rock Bowling and shared stages with\u00a0Billy Bragg<\/strong>,\u00a0Buzzcocks<\/strong>,\u00a0The Damned<\/strong>,\u00a0Stiff Little Fingers<\/strong>\u00a0and\u00a0The King Blues<\/strong>\u00a0to name a few.<\/p>\n

Louise’s headline tour will be the perfect teaser of what to expect from the new album. Her talent for crafting powerful and direct messages\u00a0with addictive melodies over righteous punk rock hooks has really come to the fore more than ever before. Hold tight!<\/p>\n
