It might\u2019ve taken 20 years but here it is: the original line-up of\u00a0The<\/strong>\u00a0Flaming Sideburns<\/strong>\u00a0unleashes a brand new album \u201cSilver Flames<\/a>\u201d. It can be seen as a follow-up to their now legendary debut \u201cHallelujah Rock\u2019n\u2019Rollah\u201d, which was released two decades prior in 2001.<\/p>\n

\u201cSilver Flames\u201d is an album nobody expected to happen. Most certainly it\u2019s out of time and out of place in 2021 but that has never stopped the Flaming Sideburns on their mission. Instead, they launch a rock\u2019n\u2019roll assault at full throttle.<\/p>\n

It\u2019s all there from straight-ahead rockers (\u201cSilver Flame\u201d, \u201cSearching Like a Hyena\u201d) to deep psychedelia (\u201cNiburu\u201d, \u201cReverberation\u201d) and from classic rock (\u201cA Song for Robert\u201d) to pop-tinged choruses (\u201cPerfect Storm\u201d, \u201cCast out my Demons\u201d). The album is wrapped up by \u201cTrance-Noch\u00e9\u201d and its unusual combination of Latin American madness and Arctic hysteria \u2014 topped with the lyrics en Espa\u00f1ol.<\/p>\n
