Yes Sisters and Brothers, it\u2019s been a whole year since our Prime Minister\u00a0BoJo<\/em>\u00a0made his\u00a0\u201cStay At Home\u201d<\/em>\u00a0announcement! One day later\u00a0The Urban Voodoo Machine<\/strong>\u00a0main man\u00a0Paul-Ronney Angel<\/strong>\u00a0(P-R) took to the stage in his East London living room with fellow musician and partner\u00a0Ane Angel<\/strong>\u00a0to entertain a locked down community starved of live music.<\/p>\n

The show was a storming success and a weekly engagement was born. Throughout the year\u00a0P-R<\/strong>\u00a0and\u00a0Ane<\/strong>\u00a0have delivered a bourbon-soaked foot stomper of a show every Saturday night featuring Urban Voodoo classics and freshly written tunes making comment on the pandemic. Social distancing permitting, guests have been invited to perform, including\u00a0Rat Scabies<\/strong>\u00a0of\u00a0The Damned<\/strong>, widow and backing singer of\u00a0James Brown<\/strong>,\u00a0Tomirae Brown<\/strong>,\u00a0Jim Jones<\/strong>\u00a0(Jim Jones Revue<\/strong>) and various members of\u00a0The Urban Voodoo Machine<\/strong>\u00a0themselves over the year.<\/p>\n
