Best known as the frontman of iconic alternative rock band Pixies, Black Francis\u2019 music has inspired generations of musicians from Nirvana to Radiohead. Compiled with the assistance of Black Francis himself,\u00a007-11<\/i><\/b>, released on 5\u00a0November ,\u00a0\u00a0gathers together eight albums from one of the most prolific periods of his career.<\/div>\n

\u201cThis period of recordings marks a time when I felt free to write albums, or bodies of work, that were organised under the banner of a theme or unified concept\u2026 Some of the stories are incomplete or they mutate into each other. This expansive new boxset features 129 tracks across nine CDs including five studio albums \u2013 \u2018Bluefinger\u2019\u00a0<\/i><\/b>(2007), \u2018Sv n F ng rs\u2019\u00a0<\/i><\/b>(2008), \u2018The Golem\u2019\u00a0<\/i><\/b>(2010), \u2018NonStopErotik\u2019<\/i><\/b>\u00a0(2010), and \u2018Paley & Francis\u2019\u00a0<\/i><\/b>(2011). Plus, \u2018Abbabubba\u2019<\/i><\/b>, a collection of B-sides, rarities and remixes, as well as two live albums\u00a0\u2018Live In Nijmegen\u2019\u00a0<\/i><\/b>and\u00a0\u2018Live At The Hotel Utah Saloon\u2019\u00a0<\/i><\/b>(which is released on CD for the very first time).<\/div>\n
