It does sum up the band\u2019s characters HO HO HO!\u2019<\/em>\u00a0exclaims\u00a0<strong>Noddy Holder<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><br>Originally released in 1973\u00a0<em>Merry Xmas Everybody<\/em>\u00a0was the band&#8217;s sixth number-one single in the UK and sold over a million copies upon its first release.\u00a0\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><br>A Christmas standard\u00a0<em>Merry Xmas Everybody\u00a0<\/em>has spent an incredible 105 weeks in the Official UK Singles Chart and entered the charts for an amazing 26th time this week.
