KILLING JOKE\u00a0confirms that all hope is probably lost (or at least missing) with their first new studio material in over seven years…<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Enter the \u2018LORD of CHAOS\u2019<\/strong> EP<\/strong> \u2013 two brand new recordings, plus two re-workings of songs from the confrontational UK band\u2019s last studio album, \u2018Pylon\u2019<\/strong> (2015).<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cI\u2019ve never known anything like the time we are living in now; not since the Cuban Missile crisis but now in comparison we have multiple flashpoints<\/em>.\u00a0Lord of Chaos\u00a0is about complex systems failure when technology overloads and A.I. misreads the enemies intentions.<\/em>\u201d –\u00a0Dr Jaz Coleman.<\/strong>\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n

To support and celebrate the arrival of new music,\u00a0Killing Joke<\/strong>\u00a0are set to undertake their first UK run in over three years, 2022\u2019s\u00a0Honour The Fire tour<\/strong>.<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n

This11 date tour<\/strong>\u00a0will start with a just-announced intimate warm-up show at the\u00a0Frog & Fiddle<\/strong>\u00a0in\u00a0Cheltenham<\/strong>\u00a0on\u00a0Sunday<\/strong>,\u00a0March 27th<\/sup><\/strong>; it will conclude in\u00a0London<\/strong>\u00a0at the\u00a0Eventim Apollo<\/strong>,\u00a0Hammersmith<\/strong>\u00a0on\u00a0Saturday, April 9th\u00a0<\/sup><\/strong>which is being filmed.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Killing Joke<\/strong>\u00a0is very much music as ritual \u2013 raw, uncompromising and precisely-targeted lyrically; and\u00a0Dr Jaz Coleman<\/strong>,\u00a0Geordie<\/strong>,\u00a0Youth,<\/strong>\u00a0and\u00a0Big Paul<\/strong>, founding fathers of the group and an ongoing influence on both alternative music and (counter) culture in general, show absolutely\u00a0no<\/em>\u00a0signs of\u00a0mellowing.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n

With collective nostrils flared and righteous anger carried torch-high, The Fourcontinue to take their music of resistance to fresh levels.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The \u2018Lord of Chaos\u2019 <\/strong>EP will be available on CD, digital and three vinyl formats on 25th March.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Tracks 1 & 2 \u2013 Produced by Killing Joke<\/strong> andMixed by Tom Dalgety<\/strong> \u2013 set the tone for the band\u2019s next studio album, currently being worked on in Prague.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Meanwhile, Tracks 3 & 4 give a fresh spin to numbers from the \u2018Pylon\u2019<\/strong> album \u2013 \u2018Big Buzz\u2019<\/strong> having been Re-mixed by Dalgety<\/strong> and Nick Evans<\/strong>, and \u2018Delete\u2019<\/strong> getting the full Dub treatment courtesy of KJ<\/strong>\u2019s Youth<\/strong>, who has a longstanding reputation in thisarea.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
