Ferocious Dog with a new line up, play twelve UK headline shows in March and April. \u201cWe\u2019re super excited to get back on the road and do the 2nd half of \u201cThe Hope\u201d tour and play in some brand new (to FD) venues. Finishing the tour at our hometown Rock City is going to be one of the best things we\u2019ve ever done<\/em>\u201d exclaims Dan Booth. Ferocious Dog welcome back Kyle Peters on guitar; Kyle played on their debut album, which includes\u00a0Pocket of Madness,<\/em>\u00a0which he wrote and sang on. The band will be playing fan favourite\u00a0Pocket of Madness<\/em>\u00a0throughout the whole tour.\u00a0Ferocious Dog also has a new rhythm section with new members Nick Wragg (bass) and Luke Grainger (drums) joining Ken Bonsall, Dan Booth and Sam Wood, to complete the sextet.<\/p>\n\n\n\n


Following these shows, the band plays\u00a0The Bearded Theory<\/strong>\u00a0in May, with further festival appearances to follow including\u00a0the Bloodstock<\/strong>\u00a0and\u00a0Rebellion festivals\u00a0<\/strong>in August. More shows will be announced soon.
Ferocious Dog\u2019s latest album\u00a0The Hope<\/em><\/strong>, includes the title track, released as a single to coincide with World Mental Health day and the previous singles: \u2018Broken Soldier<\/em>\u2019 and \u2018Pentrich Rising<\/em>\u2019.
The Hope<\/em>\u00a0debuted at\u00a0Number One<\/strong>\u00a0on the\u00a0Official UK & Ireland Folk Album Charts <\/strong>and entered the\u00a0National Album\u00a0charts at\u00a0Number 31. While the vinyl version of\u00a0The Hope\u00a0entered the\u00a0Top 20 Vinyl Album Chart.
The\u00a0Hope\u00a0flows irresistibly through tales of historical observations, to biting commentary on the plights facing the world today.\u00a0 The songs follow a rollercoaster of pace and sentiment which will have you wanting to mosh one moment before having a moment to contemplate.
The Hope\u00a0carries on in the strong tradition of Ferocious Dog albums, with thought-provoking and politically charged lyrics, seamlessly combining with dynamic and eclectic music.
