It blew my mind and I think showed me that when it comes to Music, there are no boundaries listen to what you want if you like it you like it if not don\u2019t worry try something else, just don\u2019t become fixed within a genre.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Where am I going with this pre-amble? I recently got sent through an artists LP (Keeley) with a could you give this LP a listen?<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Reading the blurb proved interesting \u201cKeeley\u2019s songwriting is unique in that all of her songs are about the same subject matter \u2014 the murder of German backpacker\u00a0<strong>Inga-Maria Hauser<\/strong>\u00a0in 1988 in Northern Ireland. Inga Maria was 18 years old and backpacking around Europe, she was due to get the train to Dublin from Belfast on April 6, 1988 but sometime between landing at Larne on the ferry from Scotland to trying to get the Belfast train she was abducted and driven to a forest and brutally murdered. Despite many leads pointing to the culprits, the case has never been solved. Keeley\u2019s homemade video explores the &#8216;travel and loss&#8217; narrative.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-embed is-type-video is-provider-youtube wp-block-embed-youtube wp-embed-aspect-16-9 wp-has-aspect-ratio\"><div class=\"wp-block-embed__wrapper\">\n<iframe loading=\"lazy\" title=\"KEELEY - Seeing Everything (Official Video)\" width=\"1140\" height=\"641\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/w7VaGTijM-A?feature=oembed\" frameborder=\"0\" allow=\"accelerometer; autoplay; clipboard-write; encrypted-media; gyroscope; picture-in-picture; web-share\" allowfullscreen><\/iframe>\n<\/div><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>Keeley\u2019s involvement in this case since 2016 has been the subject of a BBC Northern Ireland Documentary&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/watch?v=WZGMCop6ToI\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">&#8220;Murder In The Badlands\u201d<\/a>&nbsp;and a film about the case (featuring interviews and music by Keeley) is being produced for release sometime in the near future.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>So here we go opening with \u201cSeeing Everything\u201d your immediately taken back to the days of Lush and Curve very definitely hitting that Indie pop vein.
