The vinyl seven-inch single features the band\u2019s newest composition \u201cDiana\u201d and is backed with the song \u201cLicht Aus\u201d, a cover song by the 80\u2019s German new wave band Nichts. The new single follows Autogramm\u2019s tradition of crafting sing-along new wave anthems, but this time with a darker twist. \u201cDiana\u201d subtly fuses the tick-tack rhythms, motorik basslines and melancholic vocals of <em>Speak &amp; Spell <\/em>era Depeche Mode and Human League, with the scorching guitars and emotional intensity of TSOL or Billy Idol. Bassist C.C. Voltage explains, \u201cThe bass line came to me while I was working. I was able to use my break time to grab a cheap synthesizer and track the idea quickly on Garageband. With their new album <em>Music That Humans Can Play <\/em>the band dedicated themselves to bringing in sounds from influences like The Fixx, David Bowie, Cheap Trick, The Boys, The Dickies, Jay Reatard, and Prince.
