To mark\u00a0Strap Originals\u2019<\/strong>\u00a05th anniversary, label boss\u00a0Peter Doherty<\/strong>\u00a0will host three special celebratory nights in Manchester and London in May. Each night will feature\u00a0Strap Originals<\/strong>\u00a0artists live in concert:\u00a0Vona Vella\/Andrew<\/strong>Cushin<\/strong>\u00a0(The White Hotel, Manchester 28th),\u00a0Evan Williams\/Trampolene<\/strong>\u00a0(100 Club, London 29th) and\u00a0Jack Jones\/PREGOBLIN\/Real Farmer<\/strong>\u00a0(100 Club, London 30th). On all three nights\u00a0Peter<\/strong>\u00a0will do a Q&A with a journalist about his life, his music and his vision for the label. Strap Originals<\/strong> was launched in 2017 with the release of Peter Doherty & The Puta<\/strong>Madres<\/strong> self titled album. The label has gone on to release six Top 10 Independent Albums by Andrew Cushin<\/strong>, Trampolene<\/strong> and Peter Doherty<\/strong>, along with critically acclaimed albums by Vona Vella, PREGOBLIN<\/strong> and Real Farmer<\/strong>. Strap Originals<\/strong> also entered the book publishing world at the end of last year with a novel by Jack Jones (Trampolene<\/strong>) entitled \u2018Swansea To Hornsey\u2019.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Strap Originals<\/strong> is a stand-alone Independent label owned by Peter Doherty<\/strong> and his manager Jai Stanley working alongside managing director Charlie Dilks. It is independently financed and is committed to signing new original artists and allowing them to evolve and have creative control.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
