This unique acoustic album reimagines beloved songs, offering a stripped-back sound that exposes the core of their songwriting. Original vocals from Phil Lynott are paired with brand-new guitar parts from founding member Eric Bell, creating an entirely new listening experience for fans. \u2018Acoustic Sessions\u2019 is out today on CD and vinyl and will be released digitally on May 9<sup>th<\/sup>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Producer and mixer Richard Whittaker, working alongside Eric Bell, went to huge lengths to use the original tapes, vocals and instrumentation with the only new addition being Eric\u2019s fresh acoustic guitar parts which were recorded with him in Belfast at the Oh Yeah! Centre Studios, a unique celebration of Irish artists and their craft.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Each track on the album is a freshly created version of songs featured on either the 50th-anniversary super deluxe editions of \u2018Vagabonds Of The Western World\u2019, considered Thin Lizzy\u2019s breakthrough, alongside their self-titled debut and \u2018Shades of a Blue Orphanage\u2019.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Today we celebrate the album\u2019s release with a sublime new lyric video for the 1971 song \u2018Dublin\u2019.
