They\u2019ve excelled on the road too, with a phenomenal&nbsp;<strong>Other Stage<\/strong>&nbsp;headline set at&nbsp;<strong>Glastonbury<\/strong>, which saw&nbsp;<strong>NME\u2019s&nbsp;<\/strong>five-star review state that they made&nbsp;<em>\u201ca claim to headline the Pyramid in the future.\u201d&nbsp;<\/em>Elsewhere they headlined&nbsp;<strong>Truck&nbsp;<\/strong>and<strong>&nbsp;End of the Road,<\/strong>&nbsp;and completed a&nbsp;<strong>UK<\/strong>&nbsp;headline tour that saw them perform to&nbsp;<strong>20,000<\/strong>&nbsp;people in&nbsp;<strong>London<\/strong>&nbsp;alone over two nights at&nbsp;<strong>Alexandra Palace<\/strong>&nbsp;&#8211; and there\u2019s still this weekend\u2019s&nbsp;<strong>Bristol Block Party<\/strong>&nbsp;shows left to come.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Yet as that era draws to a close, it\u2019s still opening up remarkable creativity opportunities for the band. Drawing inspiration from the gritty energy of the<strong>&nbsp;1990s New York&nbsp;<\/strong>punk scene that permeates<strong>&nbsp;Academy Award<\/strong>&nbsp;nominee<strong>&nbsp;Darren Aronofsky\u2019s<\/strong>&nbsp;upcoming crime caper&nbsp;<strong>\u2018Caught Stealing\u2019<\/strong>,&nbsp;<strong>IDLES<\/strong>&nbsp;have contributed four original tracks to the project\u2019s soundtrack as well as having recorded the full film score composed by&nbsp;<strong>Rob Simonsen&nbsp;<\/strong>(<strong>\u2018The Whale\u2019<\/strong>,&nbsp;<strong>\u2018Deadpool\u2019<\/strong>,&nbsp;<strong>\u2018Wolverine\u2019<\/strong>). Also included is a striking cover of the&nbsp;<strong>Junior Marvin<\/strong>-penned&nbsp;<strong>\u2018Police and Thieves\u2019<\/strong>, a song famously covered by&nbsp;<strong>The Clash<\/strong>&nbsp;on their&nbsp;<strong>1977&nbsp;<\/strong>self-titled debut album.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>\u2018Caught Stealing\u2019&nbsp;<\/strong>which will be released theatrically by&nbsp;<strong>Sony Pictures<\/strong>&nbsp;on&nbsp;<strong>August 29th<\/strong>, and its accompanying soundtrack album will be issued that same day via&nbsp;<strong>Partisan Records<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>IDLES&nbsp;<\/strong>and&nbsp;<strong>Darren Aronofsky<\/strong>&nbsp;(<strong>\u2018Requiem for a Dream\u2019<\/strong>,&nbsp;<strong>\u2018The Wrestler\u2019<\/strong>,&nbsp;<strong>\u2018Black Swan\u2019<\/strong>) quickly formed a creative kinship, united by a deep mutual respect for each other\u2019s work.
