One of the most urgent, immediate and irrepressible tracks the band have delivered to date, \u201cWarning Signs<\/strong>\u201d is a lightning bolt of realisation and unrequited love. 

Of the track, vocalist Adam Houghton<\/strong> says:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

”I wanted to write from a place of regret \u2014 that gut-wrenching moment when you realise pride and fear have cost you the person you love. The song is a confession and a plea, filled with what-ifs and too-lates. I wanted the repetition and directness to feel desperate, like someone haunted by what they didn\u2019t say soon enough. It\u2019s about confronting the pain of being without the one who grounded you and understanding too late that love requires vulnerability. The goal was to make the emotion feel raw, honest, and painfully human.\u2019’<\/em>

New single “Warning Signs<\/strong>\u201d is an unignorable reminder of the band\u2019s highly awaited fifth album \u2018DAGGER<\/strong>\u2019, as produced by\u00a0Joe Cross<\/strong>\u00a0(Hurts, Courteeners, Slow Readers Club<\/em>). It arrives on 6 February 2026, via the band\u2019s own Kind Violence Records.\u00a0

The new track comes complete with an\u00a0official video<\/strong>\u00a0shot by\u00a0Joyce Van Doorn<\/strong>\u00a0and edited by\u00a0Shaolin Pete<\/strong>. Featuring live and backstage footage from IST IST\u2019s triumphant recent tour of Europe, it\u2019s a tantalising reminder for what\u2019s to come at their upcoming UK comeback shows, which kick-off this week in\u00a0Leeds<\/strong>,\u00a0Glasgow, London<\/strong>, and\u00a0Birmingham\u00a0<\/strong>(28th November – 6th December, check dates below).\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n

IST IST will also be hitting the road again in\u00a0April 2026<\/strong>, with additional shows in\u00a0Norwich, Exeter, Oxford, Newcastle, Sheffield, Nottingham, Bristol,\u00a0<\/strong>and\u00a0Brighton<\/strong>, paving the way towards their biggest hometown show to date, at\u00a0Manchester\u2019s Albert Hall<\/strong>\u00a0in May.
