For \u2018We Mean It, Man!<\/em><\/strong><\/a>\u2019, Gogol Bordello <\/strong>collaborated with Nick Launay<\/strong> (Nick Cave, Gang of Four, Yeah Yeah Yeahs, Amyl & The Sniffers, IDLES) <\/strong>and Adam \u201cAtom\u201d Greenspan <\/strong>(Amyl & The Sniffers, IDLES<\/strong>) <\/strong>to knock out twelve super-punchy, hook-laden songs<\/strong>, fusing Gogol Bordello\u2019s raw energy with and boiled down song form with electronic layers, loops and gated-drum rhythms \u2013 a bold evolution of the experiments first explored on Gypsy Punks<\/em><\/strong> (produced by Steve Albini<\/strong>).<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cNo Time For Idiots\u201d<\/strong> lands as a Strummer\/Jones-esque riff-punk blast with a massive chorus payoff, while \u201cLife Is Possible Again\u201d<\/strong> channels sharp optimism against all odds. Their latest take on \u201cSolidarity\u201d <\/strong>again features Bernard Sumner<\/strong> on the Angelic Upstarts<\/strong>\u2019 Solidarno\u015b\u0107-punk anthem.<\/p>\n\n\n

Frontman Eugene H\u00fctz <\/strong>says \u201cGogol Bordello has always been a cross-pollinator. And \u2018<\/em>We Mean It Man!<\/em><\/strong><\/a>\u2019 brings all our original inspirations together more than any other: punk, gypsy music, hardcore, and  techno. I conceived this album as a collaboration with one of my favorite producers of all time, Nick Launay, who\u2019s been so much responsible for the flourishing of post-punk as a genre. In terms of boiled down multimedia collage this is the best Frankenstein we\u2019ve done since Gypsy Punks. This is our post-punk groove revenge\u201d.<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Gogol Bordello<\/strong> recently performed at the World Forum for Democracy<\/strong><\/a> in Strasbourg, capping off their two month European tour<\/strong> with support acts Son Rompe Pera, Split Dogs <\/strong>& Puzzled Panther<\/strong>,who just released psychedelic Manchester-meets-New York EP \u2018Fits of Serenity<\/em><\/strong><\/a>\u2019.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
