Following the release of\u00a0‘God Bless America \u2013 Best of Thirsty’<\/em>, the Thirsty Quireboys will host an exclusive evening at\u00a0The Spice of Life, Soho<\/strong>, on\u00a0Thursday 30 July 2026<\/strong>, celebrating the album\u2019s launch and the enduring legacy of\u00a0Guy Bailey<\/strong>, founder of The Quireboys and architect of Thirsty\u2019s distinctive sound.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The event will feature an opening set by Bones of the City (7.30 pm)<\/strong>, followed by an 8.30 pm video premiere, Q&A, and live performance<\/strong> from Spike<\/strong>, joined by Tom Golzen (guitar)<\/strong>, Chris Johnstone (keyboards)<\/strong>, Matty Cassidy (bass)<\/strong>, and Simon Hanson (drums)<\/strong>. Produced by Chris Kimsey<\/strong>, the album brings together Bailey\u2019s songwriting partnership with Irina D<\/strong>, reimagined through Spike\u2019s powerful vocals – a posthumous collaboration that reunites The Quireboys\u2019 founding duo in spirit and sound.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
