German melodic metallers The Night Eternal are ready to unleash their latest long player: Cold Velvet. <\/em>The band formed in 2018 and since then have built a solid following. The band has had two previous releases: Moonlit Cross <\/em>(2021) and Fatale<\/em> (2023). Cold Velvet <\/em>is the band’s debut for the iconic Metal Blade Records.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

What does The Night Eternal sound like? Think of early Ghost, Ultravox, Paradise Lost, Type O Negative, and Depeche Mode being mixed up in a blender, and you get the idea.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Cold Velvet<\/em> is a very interesting listen. As the band themselves explain: \u201cWith this album we set out to open a new musical chapter in the story of The Night Eternal.
