British rock band\u00a0Aaron Buchanan And The Cult Classics<\/strong>\u00a0<\/strong>are pleased to announce that they have signed to\u00a0LISTENABLE Records<\/strong>. To celebrate, the band and the label are releasing a Special Edition of the album\u00a0\u2018The Man With Stars On His Knees<\/strong>\u2019 on\u00a0Friday 22nd February<\/strong>\u00a0featuring five brand new bonus tracks, consisting two brand-new studio tracks \u2018Undertow<\/strong>\u2019 and \u2018Fire In The Fields Of Mayhem<\/strong>\u2019 and of three live tracks on the CD version.<\/p>\n

Says front man\u00a0Aaron Buchanan<\/strong>: \u201cThis signing feels right. It’s the best way for us as unified musicians and friends to give you bigger, better, more extravagant shows. 10,000 of you have already become fans of our Facebook page, what we can do now with support from\u00a0LISTENABLE<\/strong>\u00a0is astronomical. In 2015, having toured the globe for four years fronting\u00a0Heaven\u2019s Basement<\/em>,\u00a0Aaron Buchanan<\/strong>\u00a0walked out of one band and immediately into a studio just out of London with producer\u00a0James Curtis-Thomas<\/strong>, guitarist\u00a0Ryan Woods<\/strong>\u00a0and sister & guitarist\u00a0Laurie Buchanan<\/strong>. In the years prior, Curtis-Thomas and Buchanan had spoken many times about producing a record with deep, mature, and colourful content; just a few months later and a stint for Buchanan in Australia where many of the vocals were tracked in a shed just outside Brisbane, the now critically acclaimed and award winning record \u2018The Man With Stars On His Knees\u2019<\/strong>\u00a0was born out of a tiny studio just outside London with no hot water or central heating. A true testament to the belief in the music and vision Buchanan had bought to the table.<\/p>\n

Continues Aaron:\u201d Since we formed the\u00a0CULT CLASSICS<\/strong>\u00a0in 2016 and with the release of \u2018The Man With Stars On His Knees<\/strong>\u2019 it has been a rollercoaster ride of tours, shows and festivals; to name just a few;\u00a0Buck Cherry<\/em>,\u00a0Life Of Agony<\/em>,\u00a0Royal Republic<\/em>,\u00a0Skindred<\/em>,\u00a0Skid Row<\/em>,\u00a0Download Festival<\/em>,\u00a0Ramblin’ Man Fair<\/em>,\u00a0Wildfire Festival<\/em>,\u00a0Camden Rocks<\/em>\u00a0and\u00a0Steelhouse<\/em>.\u00a0Tom McCarthy<\/strong>\u00a0(guitar) and my sibling\u00a0Laurie<\/strong>\u00a0(guitar) have been constants in the\u00a0CULT CLASSICS<\/strong>from day one, forever supporters of my eclectic, eccentric, and left hook vision, but in mid-2017 we re-shuffled the line-up and bought in\u00a0Paul White<\/strong>on drums and\u00a0Mart Trail<\/strong>\u00a0on bass. “We” needed to grow, as did our show. Paul, having come from both a metal (The Defiled<\/em>) and a theatre (STOMP<\/em>) background could not have been a better fit, and Mart Trail came alongside Paul as the best addition a band could ask for to complete the fundamentals of any rock show: Kick, Snare, Bass.\u201d<\/p>\n
