Most famously he produced sessions for Nirvana, Pulp and the smashing pumpkins and also in his own right he noticeably produced Hanoi Rocks album &#8216;Back To Mystery City&#8217;.<a href=\"http:\/\/rpmonline.co.uk\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/01\/Back_To_Mystery_City.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"size-thumbnail wp-image-3363 alignright\" src=\"http:\/\/rpmonline.co.uk\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/01\/Back_To_Mystery_City-150x150.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"150\" height=\"150\" srcset=\"https:\/\/rpmonline.co.uk\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/01\/Back_To_Mystery_City-150x150.jpg 150w, https:\/\/rpmonline.co.uk\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/01\/Back_To_Mystery_City-300x300.jpg 300w, https:\/\/rpmonline.co.uk\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/01\/Back_To_Mystery_City-65x65.jpg 65w, https:\/\/rpmonline.co.uk\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/01\/Back_To_Mystery_City.jpg 315w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 150px) 100vw, 150px\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/rpmonline.co.uk\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/01\/4852.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignleft wp-image-3360 size-medium\" src=\"http:\/\/rpmonline.co.uk\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/01\/4852-300x180.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"300\" height=\"180\" \/><\/a>As a founder member of Mott The Hoople Dale managed to attend the Hammersmith reunion shows back in 2009 but had been diagnosed with early onset Alzheimers\u00a0so only played on the encores of the shows which were extended from three to five after an incredible\u00a0demand although he didn&#8217;t feature at all in the warm-up shows the band did near Rockfield studios prior to the London gigs. his place was taken by Martin Chambers. Diagnosed at 58 he sadly passed away in his sleep back in 2016 at the young age of 67.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\">Rest In Peace Buffin\u00a0 \u00a024 October 1948 \u2013 17 January 2016<\/p>\n<p><iframe loading=\"lazy\" width=\"1140\" height=\"855\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/4MyJHh451Y4?feature=oembed\" frameborder=\"0\" allow=\"accelerometer; autoplay; encrypted-media; gyroscope; picture-in-picture\" allowfullscreen><\/iframe><\/p>\n<p>On a brighter note on this day in history, <a href=\"http:\/\/www.thisdayinmusic.com\/pages\/the_rolling_stones\"><b>The Rolling Stones\u00a0<\/b><\/a>released their first EP, which included, \u2018You Better Move On\u2019, \u2018Poison Ivy\u2019, \u2018Bye Bye Johnny\u2019 and \u2018Money\u2019. It peaked at No.15 on the UK chart. Also by some coincidence, Happy Birthday today to\u00a0Mick Taylor, Mick\u00a0joined\u00a0The Stones<a href=\"http:\/\/www.thisdayinmusic.com\/pages\/the_rolling_stones\"><b>\u00a0<\/b><\/a>in 1969 (aged 20),\u00a0replacing Brian and left the Stones in 1974. He has appeared on some of the Stones&#8217; classic albums and widely regarded as their finest period of songwriting including Let It Bleed, Sticky Fingers and Exile on Main St. Taylor has also worked with Bob Dylan, Mike Oldfield, Jack Bruce and Ronnie Wood.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/rpmonline.co.uk\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/01\/KeithTaylor72.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter wp-image-3367 size-full\" src=\"http:\/\/rpmonline.co.uk\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/01\/KeithTaylor72.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"484\" height=\"295\" srcset=\"https:\/\/rpmonline.co.uk\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/01\/KeithTaylor72.jpg 484w, https:\/\/rpmonline.co.uk\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/01\/KeithTaylor72-300x183.jpg 300w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 484px) 100vw, 484px\" \/><\/a>Richards gave Taylor this fine appraisal\u00a0when recording Its Only Rock And Roll&#8217;\u00a0 during the Munich sessions, Richards confronted him and said, &#8220;Oi! Taylor! You&#8217;re playing too fuckin&#8217; loud. I mean, you&#8217;re really good\u00a0<i>live,<\/i>\u00a0man, but you&#8217;re fucking useless in the studio. Lay out, play later, whatever.&#8221; Richards erased some of the tapes where Taylor had recorded guitar parts too.<a href=\"http:\/\/rpmonline.co.uk\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/01\/images-2.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"wp-image-3366 size-full alignright\" src=\"http:\/\/rpmonline.co.uk\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/01\/images-2.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"300\" height=\"168\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>Taylor responded by saying &#8220;I was a bit peeved about not getting credit for a couple of songs, but that wasn&#8217;t the whole reason [I left the band]. I guess I just felt like I had enough&#8221; Yeah right so you just leave The Stones and that&#8217;s\u00a0it? He later said of his time in the band &#8211; &#8220;We used to fight and argue all the time. And one of the things I got angry about was that Mick had promised to give me some credit for some of the songs \u2013 and he didn&#8217;t. I believed I&#8217;d contributed enough. Let&#8217;s put it this way \u2013 without my contribution, those songs would not have existed.
