\"\"<\/a>My weekend couldn\u2019t have got off to a better start when through my letterbox popped the new album from The Retrobaits ‘All systems go’.\u00a0<\/span>The Retrobaits are a 3 piece band consisting off David on lead vocals and guitar, Stuart on double bass and backing vocals and Darren on drums and backing vocals. They<\/span>\u00a0play great vintage Rock\u2019n\u2019 Roll (plain and simple).<\/span><\/p>\n

The album kicks off with the title track ‘All Systems Go’ which is a great introduction into their music with its classic rockabilly feel and catchy harmonies all topped off with some great backing vocals.<\/span><\/p>\n

The 2nd track on the album titled \u201chey mr. bottle\u201d starts with a great guitar intro which carries on through the track and keeps the quality high.<\/span><\/p>\n

‘Cryin\u2019 At My Front\u00a0Door’ is another instantly catchy tune that will have you toe-tapping along. Whereas\u00a0‘<\/span>I Just Know’ is a slower number with great playing from each band member.<\/span><\/p>\n

‘Hey Hey, Haley’\u00a0is a fast Rock \u2019n\u2019 Roller that will make you want to dance and sing along from the first listen.<\/span><\/p>\n

To be\u00a0fair and give the band the credit they richly deserve there is not a weak track on this album, The band coming together and create a great vintage sounding rock\u2019n\u2019roll mix that’s\u00a0not always easy to achieve and it brings back memories of the great original 50\u2019s artists they also add their own special magic to the mix which brings this album bang up to date. <\/span><\/p>\n

In summary, it’s a great Second album by The Retrobaits and another impressive release from The Western Star Recording Company.<\/span><\/p>\n
