The Libertines<\/b>\u00a0bar\u00a0\u2018The Waste<\/b>\u00a0Land\u2019\u00a0<\/b>and recording studio, at\u2018The Albion Rooms<\/b>\u2019 in Margate, open on the 16th August. More details on the opening celebrations of the bar and studio to follow shortly.<\/div>\n

As previously announced\u00a0Peter Doherty<\/b>\u00a0and\u00a0Carl Bar\u00e2t\u00a0<\/b>play two acoustic shows at London\u2019s Hackney Empire on Thursday 5th September and Friday 6th September, as part of Somewhere Festival, which sold-out within minutes of going on sale.<\/p>\n

Peter Doherty<\/b>\u00a0recently released his acclaimed new album \u2018Peter Doherty &\u00a0\u00a0The Puta Madres\u2019 and toured the UK and Europe.\u00a0Carl Bar\u00e2t<\/b>\u00a0latterly\u00a0returned from a sold-out tour of the far East. The Libertines are\u00a0currently working on their fourth album, the followup to the No.3 UK charting album\u00a0\u2019Anthems For Doomed Youth\u2019<\/b>\u00a0(2015), which spawned the hits\u00a0\u2018Gunga Din,\u2019 \u2018Heart Of The Matter\u2019 and \u2018You\u2019re My Waterloo.\u2019<\/div>\n
