\"\"<\/a>Steve Soto died peacefully in his sleep on this day\u00a0twelve months\u00a0ago at\u00a0the age of 54. <\/span><\/span><\/div>\n

Steve first burst onto the scene way back in ’79 as\u00a0a founding member of\u00a0\u00a0Agent Orange.\u00a0Then moving on to\u00a0 Adolescents\u00a0a year later playing\u00a0bass guitar in both bands. <\/span><\/span><\/div>\n
<\/div>\n
Just before he passed away the band had released their latest album\u00a0 ‘Cropduster’ and were heading out on tour to support that record when he passed peacefully in his sleep.\u00a0 I caught their emotional performance at Rebellion Festival where they paid tribute to their recently departed comrade in what turned out to be one of the festival’s highlights where the band paid an emotional set dedicated to Steve one I’m sure he’d have been proud of.<\/span><\/span><\/div>\n

Soto also enjoyed being a member of\u00a0Legal Weapon, Joyride,\u00a0Manic Hispanic\u00a0and the punk\u00a0supergroup\u00a022 Jacks. he also had his own band, Steve Soto and the Twisted Hearts and in 2001 he joined Punk Rock Karaoke to play sets filled with punk rock classics where members of the audience would get up and perform.\u00a0<\/span><\/span><\/div>\n<\/div>\n
