\"\"<\/a>Airbourne<\/strong>\u00a0will release their fifth studio album\u00a0Boneshaker<\/em>\u00a0on\u00a0October 25th<\/sup><\/strong>\u00a0via\u00a0Spinefarm Records<\/strong>. The band revealed the cover artwork for\u00a0BONESHAKER<\/strong>, which was a collaboration between Matt Read of Combustion Ltd, and Sean Tidy of Design House Studio Ltd.<\/p>\n

On the topic of the artwork, guitarist Matthew Harrison states: \u201cThe whole sentiment we were after was about rock n\u2019 roll for life. We wanted to create something tattoo worthy, and that the artwork was classic and stood the test of time.\u201d<\/p>\n

With the creation of\u00a0Boneshaker,<\/em>\u00a0all-action Aussie rockers\u00a0Airbourne<\/strong>\u00a0decided to take the bolder path; to align with Nashville\u2019s Number One producer,\u00a0Dave Cobb<\/strong>, whose credits include both\u00a0Chris Stapleton<\/strong>\u00a0and the \u2018Star Is Born\u2019<\/strong>\u00a0soundtrack, as a way of staking out new turf away from comfort zones and safe havens\u2026<\/p>\n

\u201cIt\u2019s a live gig in the studio. This is always something we wanted to do \u2013 find a way to bring the soul and power of an\u00a0Airbourne<\/strong>\u00a0live show into an album. Cobb caught our lightning and put it in a bottle.\u201d states bandleader Joel O\u2019Keeffe.<\/p>\n

Relocating to historic Studio A on Nashville\u2019s Music Row, six-time Grammy Award-winning producer\u00a0Cobb<\/strong>\u2019s natural home and one of Music City\u2019s most prized creative hubs, the four musicians set themselves a challenge: to make a record cut from the same frayed cloth as those classic late-\u201970s recordings from Australia\u2019s legendary Albert\u2019s house of \u2018Oz Rock\u2019 that inspired the band so much.<\/p>\n

There are no weird tangents here, no un-called for asides, no messin\u2019 about. This is straight-down-the-line pure rock \u2018n\u2019 roll drama smelling of burnt rubber, spilt gasoline and valves glowing red hot. No ballads, no acoustic guitars, no keyboards. 10 tracks, 30 minutes of music.
