It was produced by Stew Jackson of\u00a0<b>Massive Attack<\/b>\u00a0and comes from Emily\u2019s new album \u2018Rituals\u2019 which is due out on\u00a0<b>September<\/b>\u00a0<b>6<sup>th<\/sup><\/b>\u00a0on\u00a0<b>Sugar Shack Records.<\/b><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>She\u2019s also had\u00a0<b>BBC 6 Music<\/b>\u00a0and\u00a0<b>Radio X<\/b>\u00a0airplay recently as well as some great press acclaim so far.<\/p>\n<p><iframe loading=\"lazy\" width=\"1140\" height=\"641\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/kNss3Y4dhO4?feature=oembed\" frameborder=\"0\" allow=\"accelerometer; autoplay; encrypted-media; gyroscope; picture-in-picture\" allowfullscreen><\/iframe><\/p>\n<p>The third single from forthcoming Emily Breeze album\u00a0<i>Rituals<\/i>\u00a0(Out September 6<sup>th<\/sup>) is a shimmering indie pop anthem entitled \u201cWork\u201d. The glossy sonic exterior and radio friendly chorus act as a foil for the ice cold cynicism and pitch black humour of the lyrics which were inspired by Patrick Bateman (American Psycho) and Emily\u2019s own experiences of hauling herself out of bed every morning to make a pointless profit for somebody else.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>The video for the single re-enacts the American Psycho \u201cHip To Be Square\u201d scene with axe-wielding Emily taking the place of Patrick Bateman.
