GUNS!<\/strong>\u00a0A new album\u00a0<strong>L.A. This first album, titled\u00a0<strong>L.A. Guns<\/strong>, went on to sell over 1,000,000 copies giving the band its first platinum award. Tours with\u00a0<strong>AC\/DC, Iron Maiden<\/strong>\u00a0and\u00a0<strong>Def Leppard<\/strong>\u00a0followed. A compilation of the videos made from this first album also earned the band a gold video award. L.A. Guns went into the studio to record their second album,\u00a0<strong>Cocked and Loaded<\/strong>, in the spring of 1989. It was a hit right away with the release of\u00a0<strong>&#8220;Rip and Tear&#8221;<\/strong>\u00a0as the first single and video.\u00a0<strong>&#8220;Never Enough&#8221;<\/strong>\u00a0and\u00a0<strong>&#8220;The Ballad of Jayne&#8221;<\/strong>\u00a0followed, pushing the album toward platinum status once again. The video compilation from this album earned the band its second gold video award. A successful world tour followed. The band&#8217;s third album,\u00a0<strong>Hollywood Vampires<\/strong>, was recorded in the fall of 1990. With the release of\u00a0<strong>&#8220;Kiss My Love Goodbye&#8221;\u00a0<\/strong>as the first single and video, and another successful world tour, the album gave\u00a0<strong>L.A. GUNS<\/strong>\u00a0its third platinum in a row.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Vicious Circle<\/strong>\u00a0was released in early 1995 and was followed by another successful world tour. In 1999, L.A. Guns went into the studio to record a greatest hits package titled\u00a0<strong>Black Beauties<\/strong>\u00a0that also included five new songs written for the album. In 2001, the band released its sixth studio album,\u00a0<strong>Man in the Moon<\/strong>\u00a0and in 2002 their 7<sup>th<\/sup>\u00a0Album\u00a0<strong>Waking The Dead\u00a0<\/strong>followed.<\/p>\n<p>After a 2003 world tour to support\u00a0<strong>Waking the Dead, L.A. GUNS<\/strong>\u00a0recorded\u00a0<strong>Rips The Covers Off<\/strong>\u00a0with producer Andy Johns. This was a collection of 70&#8217;s rock songs.\u00a0<strong>L.A. GUNS<\/strong>\u00a0began work on\u00a0<strong>TALES FROM THE STRIP<\/strong>\u00a0and it was released in August 2005. It received some stellar reviews and critical acclaim. A live CD,\u00a0<strong>Loud and Dangerous<\/strong>, was released late August 2006 with the band again supporting it with a world tour.<\/p>\n<p>In November 2011 the band signed their latest record deal with Cleopatra Records, releasing their tenth studio album\u00a0<strong>Hollywood Forever<\/strong>\u00a0in June 2012. The album was produced once again by veteran music producer, Andy Johns. The new record debuted at #25 on the Billboard Rock charts with the title track\u00a0<strong>&#8220;Hollywood Forever&#8221;,<\/strong>\u00a0and it was considered one of the best Hard Rock albums of 2012 by fans and critics alike, proving once again that\u00a0<strong>L.A. GUNS<\/strong>\u00a0were on top of their game with tracks like\u00a0<strong>&#8220;You Better Not Love Me&#8221;<\/strong>\u00a0and\u00a0<strong>&#8220;Sweet Mystery&#8221;.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Now after some down time, the band has been reborn with the return of\u00a0<strong>Kelly Nickels<\/strong>\u00a0on bass,\u00a0<strong>Steve Riley<\/strong>\u00a0on drums,\u00a0<strong>Scotty Griffin<\/strong>\u00a0on guitar and\u00a0<strong>Kurt Frohlich<\/strong>\u00a0on lead vocals and guitar.<\/p>\n<p>With more than 30 years&#8217; worth of noteworthy material, the band have proved to be true warriors of the 80&#8217;s genre and are geared to tear it up across the world giving audiences the high-octane Rock-n-Roll that is\u00a0<strong>L.A.
