Canadian punk legends, The Black Halos, are back!\u00a0Original members\u00a0Billy Hopeless<\/strong>,\u00a0Rich Jones<\/strong>, and\u00a0Jay Millette<\/strong>\u00a0have reunited and are joined by the rhythm section of\u00a0Danni Action<\/strong>\u00a0and\u00a0John Kerns (of Juno award winning Age of Electric)<\/strong>. The two songs on this single will remind fans of their first two albums on\u00a0Sub Pop Records<\/strong>. Not only were they recorded with the original song writing team, but they once again contracted legendary producer\u00a0Jack Endino (Nirvana, Sound Garden)<\/strong>\u00a0to mix the production. Singer Billy Hopeless says of the songs, “At the beginning of any grande production it is important to establish where the players are and what situation they are involved in. The term reincarnation derives from latin, meaning entering the flash or something new from the past. Both these terms fit this reintroduction of the Black Halos next chapter.”<\/p>\n

The Black Halos are best known for their album \u201cThe Violent Years<\/strong>\u201d. The album earned them extensive\u00a0radio play including a\u00a0Top 20 single<\/strong>\u00a0in Canada with\u00a0Some Things Never Fall<\/em><\/strong>\u00a0and saw them play notable festivals like\u00a0Warped Tour, Edgefest, SXSW, CMJ,\u00a0<\/strong>and\u00a0The Kerrang Awards\u00a0<\/strong>in the UK. The video for\u00a0Some Things Never Fall<\/em><\/strong>\u00a0saw regular rotation on both\u00a0MTV<\/strong>\u00a0in the United States and\u00a0Much Music<\/strong>\u00a0in Canada. The album went to the top of Canada\u2019s\u00a0Earshot<\/strong>\u00a0Campus Radio Charts and was on heavy rotation at notable U.S. radio stations like\u00a0WFMU, KLXA<\/strong>\u00a0and\u00a0KEXP.<\/strong><\/p>\n
