Following the release of ‘God Bless America – Best of Thirsty’, the Thirsty Quireboys will host an exclusive evening at The Spice of Life, Soho, on Thursday 30 July 2026, celebrating the album’s launch and the enduring legacy of Guy Bailey, founder of The Quireboys and architect of Thirsty’s distinctive sound.

The event will feature an opening set by Bones of the City (7.30 pm), followed by an 8.30 pm video premiere, Q&A, and live performance from Spike, joined by Tom Golzen (guitar)Chris Johnstone (keyboards)Matty Cassidy (bass), and Simon Hanson (drums). Produced by Chris Kimsey, the album brings together Bailey’s songwriting partnership with Irina D, reimagined through Spike’s powerful vocals – a posthumous collaboration that reunites The Quireboys’ founding duo in spirit and sound.
